About me

I approach all endeavors in life with an adventurous spirit. My inquisition has led me to places far and wide in India, however my exploration of this world has only just begun with the Masters in Human Computer Interaction program at Georgia Tech.

Lakshya Sharma

Back in India, I grew up around creatives and academics, I had artists, actors, musicians, architects, writers and politicians to talk to as a young child.

These influences instilled in me an appreciation for the human experience. I was always enthralled by the range of emotions and thoughts we are capable of experiencing.

This ideology has had an impact on me in a profound manner and has made me a person who indulges in tasks 100%.

What gives me great joy is to find other people to interact with who are also involved deeply in the pursuit of greatness, and are working hard to turn ideas into reality.

Expanding Horizons

My first ever job was two jobs in one. I was hired by a non-profit working in Ladakh, in the Indian Himalayas as both an architect and graphic designer.

Being in a remote region developed in me an appreciation for the diversity of culture in the world and I wished to expand my horizons and explore more cultures.

I noticed the struggle people go through to have access to information and technology and the benefits thereof. This was why I decided to become a designer in the tech space and have a far reaching impact on people's lives, from the streets of Los Angeles to the mountains of Ladakh.

Interests

My interests reflect my inclination towards exploring cultural diversity and making myself capable of having an impact.

I am an avid language learner, and I love to interact with native speakers and learn about language quirks only they can know.

I also see music as my window to global culture and am always open to exploring new artists and genres.

I love to cook. And I am always eager to listen to user feedback. Once my users are done licking their fingers.

I think it is very important to have a healthy body, to have great experiences which is why I enjoy going to the gym and putting in the work.

Thanks for taking the time out to get to know me better. Please feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn or mail if you wish to have a chat. Cheers!
